The History Of Popular Music

MUSIC DOCUMENTARIES

I do love a good documentary, especially when it involves music too.

Just sharing a few documentaries I have watched recently are:
Lionel Richie: Dancing On The Ceiling
- The Making Of Elton John: Madman Across The Water
- Prince: Purple Reign
- Play It Loud: The Story Of The Marshall Amp
- When Albums Ruled The World
- The Heart Of Country: How Nashville Became Music City USA

BBC Four is literally the best for music documentaries. I find after watching them I have a new-found respect for artists I tend to not listen to on a daily basis. Of my list above I enjoyed the Lionel Richie one so so much! I plan on watching it again that's how much I loved it.

When you have some spare time I advise you to immerse yourself in a music documentary about something or someone. You'll learn a lot, perhaps even be inspired and who doesn't like being educated and/or inspired ?!

Watch them now, thank me later
Shanté.
